Jewish Day at the Capitol 2016

Join Rabbi Ilana Schwartzman, Kol Ami congregants, National Council of Jewish Women (NCJW) and other Jewish community representatives at the Utah State Capitol.  We will deliver the dozens of letters written by congregants on Kol Ami’s Mitzvah Day and discuss current social justice issues with our elected representatives, including this year’s urgently needed legislation on homelessness and housing, Medicaid expansion, and other critical priorities to help Utah’s neediest.

Meet in the Aspen Room in the Senate Building, which is the building with the cafeteria adjacent to the east side of the Capitol, right next to the parking lot and bus stop.

Transit use is encouraged as parking is limited – visit www.rideuta.com/news/2016/01/extra-service-to-hill/ for details on UTA service to the Capitol every 15 minutes from downtown.

Parking is most available on the east side of the Capitol, including handicapped parking. To carpool, email weinsteinm@gmail.com
