Family Volunteer Day - Fairfield 

If your family has never had the opportunity to volunteer at the Food Bank this event is for you!

Family Volunteer Day offers families with young children who are usually not able to volunteer a behind the scenes look at the Food Bank; introduces them to community service and encourages them to make volunteering a family activity. The day includes a tour of the warehouse, craft and educational activities, as well as an opportunity to for hands-on volunteering. Children 5 and older can participate and must be accompanied by an adult; one chaperone per child for children ages 5-10 and at least one chaperone for every 2 to 3 children ages 11 and up.
