Please join us for our annual two-day training event, focusing on the foundations of coding, managed care/revenue cycle, pricing and differentiation, and ethical/legal considerations in an audiology practice. This course is geared to audiologists, audiology staff, and students. This course offers up to 16.5 hours of audiology continuing education.
Audiology Resources will be hosting a Audiology Boot Camp 2022: Foundations of Audiology Practice on Thursday, September 22, 2022 and Friday, September 23, 2022 at the Hilton Garden Inn O'Hare. The course will run Thursday and Friday from 8AM to 5:30PM CST. Breakfast and lunch will be served. There will be a 15 minute morning and afternoon break and a 45 minute lunch break each day.
The hotel room block is now full. You may contact the hotel at (847) 296-8900 to see if rooms, at an additional fee, are available. The hotel's COVID policies are available on their website. Parking at the hotel is $18 per day (maximum) and the hotel is easily accessible from I-90 and I-294. If you fly into O'Hare International Airport, the hotel offers a free shuttle. If you fly into Midway, I suggest you rent a car.

The course is geared to audiology practices, otolaryngology practices which house an audiology department, hospital audiology departments or hearing aid dispensing practices which employ audiologists. Registration is open to administrators, practice managers, audiologists, coders, office staff, hearing aid dispensers and AuD students.

Afternoon: Fundamentals of Coding (CPT, Including Telehealth and Evaluation and Management, ICD10, HCPCS, Modifiers, Place of Service Codes and Merit-Based Incentive Payment System)
Day #2 Agenda:
Morning: Managing Managed Care/Revenue Cycle (Review of Termonology, Medicare, Medicaid Basics, Managed Care Enrollment, Contracting and Credentialing, Billing Processes and Procedures, Insurance Verification, Private Insurance Billing Fundamentals, and Third-party Adminstrators/Networks Tips)
Afternoon: Pricing and Differentiation (Creation and Monetization of a 21st century, Patient Centered, Evidence-Based Audiology Practice, Teleaudiology, Creation of Pricing and Delivery Models, Including Unbundling and Service Delivery Models, Hearing Aid Rental Programs, and Concierge Care Models)
Dr. Cavitt will address questions following the conclusion of the Boot Camp. This service is built into the cost of the event. AUDIOLOGY RESOURCES WILL ONLY ANSWER QUESTIONS FROM PAID REGISTRANTS, BOTH DURING OR AFTER THE COURSE AND WILL ONLY SUPPLY COURSE MATERIALS TO PAID REGISTRANTS. THERE WILL BE NO EXCEPTIONS.
