Audiology Resources will be hosting an Audiology Boot Camp: Compliance, Coding, Reimbursement, and Practice Management for the Audiology Practice on Thursday, December 5 and Friday, December 6, 2019 at the Hilton Garden Inn - Chicago O'Hare Airport. The course will run Thursday and Friday from 7:30AM (breakfast) to 5PM. Breakfast and lunch will be provided each day. Complementary WIFI will be available in the meeting space.

Please go to the Training Event page of our website www.audiologyresources.com for information on recorded and future Audiology Resources events. A December date was selected due to expected significant coding and reimbursement changes in 2020!

Each event also comes with six months of no charge, one on one questions, guidance and coaching! This is included in the registration fee!

Accommodations will be available at the Hilton Garden Inn - Chicago O'Hare Airport at $129 per night, double occupancy. You can book your accommodations at (847) 296-8900 or at  https://hiltongardeninn.hilton.com/en/gi/groups/personalized/O/ORDCHGI-ARI-20191204/index.jhtml?WT.mc_id=POGParking at the hotel is $18 per day and the hotel is easily accessible from I-90 and I-294.  If you fly into O'Hare International Airport, the hotel offers a free shuttle.  If you fly into Midway, I suggest you rent a car.

Additions for 2019:

  • Participants will be broken into small groups during the ethics, coding and insurance discussions and will work through guided, real-world case scenarios.
  • After the course, Audiology Resources will create a closed group for the course attendees on both Linkedin and Facebook.  This group will be monitored by Dr. Cavitt and will allow for continued group discussion following the event.  These groups will be functional for the entirety of the six month guidance window.
  • Ability to purchase, separately, a flash drive of the slides.  This drive will include a copy of the slides (with all of the links active) as well as addiitonal guidance and reference documents.
  • Ability to purchase, separately, an extended guidance package at a reduced rate.  This would extend your no-charge guidance to December 31, 2020!
  • Discount on access to the recorded version of February 2019 Live Stream Boot Camp ($300 instead of $545 reguar price) for 2019 face to face boot camp registrants.

The course will be worth a maximum of 1.60 CEUs  (16.0 hours of continuing education).  CEUs will be offered and have been approved by the American Academy of Professional Coders (AAPC) and the American Academy of Audiology (AAA).  AAA ABA Tier 1 and Ethics credit (2 hours) will be available from this course. Please note: ASHA does not require that a program need to be approved by ASHA to count towards re-certification.  As a result, no ASHA CEUs will be offered.  You can learn more at http://www.asha.org/certification/maintFAQs/#do%20I%20have%20to%20earn.

The course is geared to audiology practices, otolaryngology practices which house an audiology department, hospital audiology departments or hearing aid dispensing practices which employ audiologists.  Registration is open to practice managers, audiologists, coders, office staff, hearing aid dispensers and AuD students.

Space will be limited to a maximum of 60 attendees.  We will not be able to exceed 60 attendees.

All attendees will be supplied a bound booklet (for two-day registrants), which contains a copy of the slides and valuable Medicare resource documents. Attendees will also be supplied a certificate of attendance, upon request.   As a result, no on-site registration or guests will be allowed.

Dr. Cavitt will be available to answer attendee questions throughout the training event and will address attendee questions following the conclusion of the Boot Camp until June 30, 2019 (for two day registrants) at no additional charge.  This service is built into the cost of the event.
