"OSHA Injury and Illness Reporting and Recordkeeping"

LA CROSSE BUILDERS EXCHANGE is offering an OSHA Recordkeeping Course on Wednesday, April 19, 2017 from 8:30 am to 1 pm. This training will be conducted by personnel from the Occupational Health & Safety Division at the Wisconsin State Laboratory of Hygiene. Reporting and posting deadlines are rapidly approaching. Make sure your staff is trained to avoid costly errors.
Topics to be covered:
- How to decide if cases are recordable on the OSHA-300 Log
- What is work related under OSHA
- What injuries and illnesses are recorded on the log
- What are first aid cases that do not need to be recorded on the log
- How to count days
- How to complete the OSHA-301 (or WKC-12) for recordable cases
- How to complete the OSHA-300 log for recordable cases
- How to complete the OSHA-300A summary form to be posted by February 1 of each year
- What needs to be reported to OSHA (injuries, illnesses and fatalities), and how to do it

LAXBX reserves the option to cancel training up to 24 hours prior to the event due to low registration numbers. An email will be sent to all registrants in the event it is necessary to cancel the training. Cancellations will only be accepted until 4:30 pm on Friday, April 15, 2017. Substitutions are alllowed after that time. NO REFUNDS WILL BE GIVEN FOR REGISTERING, BUT NOT ATTENDING.
