CGIA Industrial Career Expo - Instructor Registration 

Help students kick start their career by attending the CGIA Industrial Career Expo on October 2, 2019! 

Students attending this event will be provided with the following unique opportunities:

  • One-on-one access to hiring representatives from CGIA member companies such as Alabama Power, BASF, Chevron, Evonik, Performance Contractors, etc.  
  • Speak with different companies about current & future job opportunities (full-time positions and internships)
  • Enjoy lunch while spending quality time with companies that spark their interest
  • Learn about ‘Landing a Job in a Digital World: Online Pitfalls and How to Avoid Them’

In addition, this event will provide you as the instructors/program administrators an opportunity to make contacts with employers to engage on your advisory boards, provide industrial facility tours, etc.

Logistics:

  • Who? The students eligible to participate are those who have recently graduated or will graduate by December 2019 from your CGIA-endorsed program(s)  
  • When? Wednesday, October 2, 2019 from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM; Registration will begin at 8:30 AM
  • Where? Employee Activity Center at Evonik Corporation; 4201 Degussa Road, Theodore, Alabama 36582
  • Parking? Parking is extremely limited. We highly recommend that you as the school provide transportation for the students or encourage them to carpool to the conference with other students. Specific details will be sent prior to event.
  • Attire? This is a professional event and a chance to impress employers so please dress appropriately.
  • What to Bring? Notepad, pen, and 20 copies of your resume to hand out to employers.
