MEMOIR WRITING:
Tuesday evening, February 10th from 6:00 to 9:00 pm
First Floor of the Morey-Devereaux House
Bring writing materials (such as a laptop computer or pen and paper); the facilitator will provide an inkjet printer.
PLEASE NOTE: Participants should email a 1,000-word or less sample of their memoir writing to the facilitator by no later than February 8th -- two days prior to the workshop t.m.hawley01@gmail.com. Tim will then read all the samples, print multiple copies, and lead a group critique of each during the workshop.
The workshop will begin with introductions and a brief discussion about the writing of memoirs. The group critiques will then take up the rest of the workshop.
Our fiction writing workshop on January 13th was very well attended and feedback was extremely positive. So if you're interested, please register soon -- space is limited to 10.
To make the most of the time we have available, and as a courtesy to other participants, please arrive sufficiently early to get settled prior to the 6:00 pm start. The session will take place as scheduled -- weather permitting.
