"2020's 2nd Line" Holiday Happy Hour

It's that time of year!!  Please join us on Friday, December 4th from 4 pm to 6 pm PT for our annual Holiday Happy Hour.

This virtual event themed "2020's Second Line" will include fundraising for Eastside Baby Corner, and zoom trivia hosted by Underdog Trivia. We'll send 2020 to it's end in a manner most fitting to the Pacific Northwest Chapter.

Each year we select a local organization to fundraise for during the Holiday Happy Hour.

This year sorting baby formula at Eastside Baby Corner  was one of our few in person events. Eastside Baby Corner helps children and infants have what they need to grow, play, learn and thrive.  We do this by providing essential care, safety and health goods for children who are living in poverty or experiencing homelessness or family disruption. Even if you are not attending our Happy Hour, you can support EBC by purchasing Wish List items to be sent directly to them. Our campaign code is CPCU.

We can't wait to see you and celebrate with you the end of this year!

More Information

EBC helps children throughout Puget Sound have what they need to grow, play, learn and thrive.  They do this by providing essential care, safety and health goods for children who are living in poverty or experiencing homelessness or family disruption.

Kids, ages birth through 12, get shoes, diapers, formula, blankets, coats and much more from EBC, and our partners.  In the EBC partner network are over 50 health and human service organizations, schools, early learning centers and food banks.

EBC also provides for expectant and post-partum mothers, supplying maternity wear, personal care goods and mother-infant support items.

People in our communities donate most of the clothing, baby gear, toys and books.  More goods come from community collection drives and events.  EBC buys crucial supplies, including those we guarantee to provide:  baby food, formula, car seats, pack n’ plays and diapers.

Kids are warm, healthy, safe and better prepared to fulfill their own potential because of EBC.

Even if you cannot join us consider donating from their wishlist or directly to EBC. Our campaign code is CPCU.

PS... our other Good Works event this year was with Mother Earth Farms and Emergency Food Network. If you are looking for another organization to support this year, they are another PNW CPCU Society Chapter favorite.

Watch for additional South Sound, New Member, & other Good Works events!  South Sound Events will be scheduled in February/March and Sept/November.

Want to get involved? There are plenty of volunteer opportunities available. Commitments range from a few hours a month to a few hours a year. Email pacificnorthwestchapter@cpcusociety.org and tell us what you would like to do!
