Ms. Evans is a Certified Industrial Hygienist, Certified Safety Professional and Senior Consultant with ESi (Engineering Systems Inc.). Susan has over 28 years of experience in industrial hygiene, environmental health and safety evaluations, and compliance efforts. She has participated in numerous industrial hygiene, safety, and environmental projects including indoor air quality, microbial colonization, sewage infiltration, smoke and asbestos investigations, remediation/abatement plans and oversight of same. Ms. Evans has been certified as an asbestos inspector for 30 years and a certified asbestos designer for 20 years.
 
Ms. Evans is often requested to evaluate unknown odors in buildings. She also is called upon to evaluate buildings where more than one issue or concern is present. Ms. Evans regularly provides litigation support for a wide variety of cases. Ms. Evans also evaluates issues including water and air quality, worker exposure assessments, regulatory agency compliance, real estate environmental assessments, safety investigations, and construction site specific plans, training, and on-site monitoring.
 
Ms. Evans regularly conducts investigations related to building assessments, building code compliance, slips, trips and falls, and ADA compliance assessments. Ms. Evans is also a civil engineer with 25 years of experience in building construction/reconstruction oversight and investigations. She regularly conducts investigations for building envelope and component analysis for walls, finishes, mechanical, plumbing, and water intrusion. She has evaluated buildings for construction defects, wood rot, tree fall damage, snow and wind damage, forces from tree roots or earth movement and acoustical concerns including noise and vibration transmission.
