Finding Home: Writing and Publishing in the Global Community 

This two-part program highlights multicultural voices and stories and includes a panel discussion on getting published and a writing critique workshop. Find out what editors look for and what opportunities are available, particularly for emerging and under-represented writers.  Then, participate in a workshop in poetry or prose, share your voice and explore what is universal and distinct in your work.

Panelists/workshop leaders include: Heather, Buchanan, publisher, Aquarius/Willow Books; Ralph Hamilton, senior editor, RHINO; John Rich, director, Guild Literary Complex ,  Danny Parro, publisher, 7Vientos as well as award-winning authors and Ragdale alumni Angela Narciso-Torres (poetry) and Angie Chuang (memoir).  Writers at all levels welcome.

Schedule:

 1-3pm   Panel discussion, coffee & networking

3-5pm  Writing Critique Workshops – Prose or Poetry

5-6pm  Reception
