Danny Rutland is President of the Baptist Health Foundation and Chief Development Officer for Mississippi Baptist Health Systems. He has been in the Development business for 30 years, beginning his career at Reformed Theological Seminary in 1983 and later moving to Golden Gate Baptist Theological Seminary as Regional Development Officer in 1986.  Three years later he helped establish the Baptist Health Foundation at Mississippi Baptist Health Systems.  After six years, he accepted a job at his alma mater Mississippi College where he served as Vice President for Advancement.  While at MC he launched and completed an $80 million campaign in five years and was able to surpass the goal raising over $100 million. He returned to Baptist Health Systems in 2007 as President and Chief Development Officer where he now serves.  He has performed consulting work for numerous nonprofits in Mississippi, Louisiana and Florida regarding fundraising, board development and development audit.
