Register today to attend IOA's Ocular Therapeutics 2020 Seminar to be held on Wednesday, February 5, 2020, at the Ritz Charles in Carmel, Indiana! This optometric continuing education (CE) event offers seven (7) hours of IOB and legend drug credit. CEE (continuing education with exam) will not be offered at this event.

Covering the Cornea from ABMD to Zoster

The anterior segment has a variety of conditions that affect it. This course will cover a variety of corneal dystrophies, degenerations, and infectious conditions of the cornea. Treatment options both surgical and medical will be discussed. The attendee will have a renewed confidence in managing conditions of the anterior segment.

A Room with A View: The Medical Management of Glaucoma

Advances in glaucoma diagnostics and management continue to evolve at a rapid pace. In order to continue to care for glaucoma patients at a high level, it is imperative that innovation continues in the glaucoma space. The focus of this course is to discuss new advancements in glaucoma topical therapy, glaucoma drug delivery, glaucoma surgical options, diagnostic technology, and what's new in the glaucoma pipeline.

Managing Uveitis with Steroids and Biologic Agents

This course will familiarize the clinician with biologic agents and steroids in uveitis management. Differential diagnosis of intraocular inflammation and the role of laboratory testing will be discussed. Additionally, treatment trends, including comanagement strategies will be emphasized.

Update on Retinal Tumors The Role of OCT in Diagnosis and Management

This course will highlight key diagnostic features of retinal tumors with an emphasis on incorporating spectral domain optical coherence tomography SD-OCT into the practitioners management of both benign and malignant retinal lesions. It will also address the advancing field of OCT imaging technology and its application to clinical practice.

MIGS – A New Paradigm in Glaucoma Management
Patrick Hopen, MD, Indianapolis, IN
The development of Microinvasive Glaucoma Surgery (MIGS) has created a new paradigm in the management of glaucoma. This course will review the development of MIGS, current applications in conjunction with cataract surgery and as a stand-alone procedure, as well as optometry’s role in peri-operative management.
1 hour IOB and Legend Drug (Glaucoma)

All courses are eligible for IOB and Legend Drug continuing education credit. Should any scheduling changes be necessary, they will be posted on this webpage.

REFUND POLICY:  All requests for refunds must be made in writing and must be postmarked or sent via email no later than January 24, 2020.  Refund requests made on or before January 24, 2020, will receive a full refund.  Requests made between January 25 and February 4, 2020, will receive a 75% refund.  No refunds will be made after February 4, 2020.
