Lucy Cormier B.A. (Psych.), C.C.R.C., President
Lucy Cormier, as President of Partners Disability Management Inc., has over 25 years of experience specializing in workplace absence management for both the private and public sectors. After working for a number of years across a broad spectrum of insurance sectors (WSIB, LTD, STD and Auto) assessing disability and root causes of workplace absence, Lucy applied her knowledge in pioneering an early intervention approach to help employers better manage these challenges.
Her focus was to design an innovative approach to help employers manage the spiralling costs of workplace absence. She created a process to assist employers in understanding what is needed to manage absence and disability issues in the face of legislative requirements and cost containment, while maintaining high service standards.
Lucy founded PDM in 1998 in response to the need for proactive management of absence and disability in the workplace by providing analysis of business processes to implement stronger policies and protocols that successfully address and manage all disability and accommodation issues from onset to conclusion.
