October 5 we will celebrate the190th anniversary of the founding of our parish. What began as a small community of beleaguered Irish immigrants and later merged with a struggling Italian community and as the first Catholic parish in the state of Connecticut, has become a vibrant home for the mission of the Gospel. Many of those who first prayed together were unwanted immigrants/refugees, treated shabbily, and living in poverty. These memories underpin our concern for those who have this experience today. This is certainly reason to remember, to celebrate, and to be conscious of those who are now struggling immigrants/refugees.

We will use the courtyards, Friary Meeting room, and rear parking area. The area is handicap accessible.

The Pizza Fire Truck will be here to serve Pizza, Gluten Free Pizza, salad and Italian Ice. In addition, we will have D & D Market’s 6-foot long grinders. There will be games for the kids, face painting and a great time to socialize.
