May 24, 2021 Radiation Safety Training for Non-Licensed Team Member 

As required by 180 NAC 6-010.03 item 4, all non-licensed hospital staff participating in procurement of radiological images must complete an 8 hour state approved Radiation Safety Training Course. This class will complete those requirements. Breakfast & Lunch Provided.

COVID-19 Policy and Class Instructions

Everyone’s safety remains a top priority. Each VCA hospital has health and safety protocols in place based on health care best practices and based on CDC recomendations. You may attend our Radiology Safety training unless you are sick or medically quarantined. If you are sick or have a temperature of 100.2 F or greater you will not be able to attend the course. Please note that movement through out our facility will be limited to the radiology suite, conference rooms, and designated restrooms.

• When arriving at our facility please use the conference room door (not the main entrance) . 
• All persons entering our hospitals must wear a medical grade face covering at all times. We can provide these for you at the door when you arrive. Cloth masks of any kind are not permitted in our facility. 
• You will be asked COVID screen questions upon your arrival and undergo a temperature screening. If you answer yes to any of the screening questions or have a temperature greater than 100.2F we will schedule for the next available class 14 days from that date.
• If you have traveled by mass transit (ie. plane or train) within the last 14 days you will not be permitted in the building.
