The Theodore Roosevelt Council Golf Classic, now in its thirty-fifth year, is one of the premier golf tournaments on Long Island. To date, nearly $2,000,000 has been raised by this event, which has helped bring Scouting to over 10,000 young men and women each year.

The Theodore Roosevelt Council uses the Scouting program including outdoor experiences, to prepare young people to make ethical and moral choices over their lifetimes by instilling in them the values of the Scout Oath and Law.
