About Our Speaker

Wade J. Westhoff is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER ® practitioner and Accredited Investment Fiduciary ® with over 15 years’ experience affiliated Summit Financial Group, LLC of San Ramon.

Wade holds a B.S. degree from Oregon State University.

He is a proud member of FPA – East Bay and a member of The Financial Services Institute.

He is currently a member of the Board of Directors for the Oregon State University Alumni Association and is a member of the investment committee.

Previously, he has served on the advisory board for the Personal Financial Planning Program at UC Berkeley Extension.

He is a member and contributor to the 25 person National Patient Safety Foundation’s Transparency Roundtable, which will be releasing its groundbreaking position paper later this year on the role transparency plays in improving safety in our nation’s health care system.

He is also a member of the Steering Group at 3Ethos, an organization dedicated to helping investment stewards design a more effective framework for critical decision making. The group is working towards getting the first international leadership standards for investment advisors published by BSI – The British Standards Institute – the largest and oldest ISO in the world.  

Out of the office, you will find Wade coaching his son’s youth soccer team, competing in local 5K, 10K & Triathlon’s.  He is also going on record that he is training to complete his first marathon this coming January.
