SBCGS Family History Month 2013  

Celebrate Family History Month during the month of October with classes, lectures, webinars, open houses, a seminar, and more! Spread the word - this is a great month to sample SBCGS's outstanding genealogical resources

Information about Classes

  • The FHM classes are FREE for SBCGS members, but you must register as seating is limited. Click "Register Now!" button below.
  • The fee for non-members is $10 per class. (Tip: If you are taking more than one class, it might be more economical to join SBCGS.) The payment for classes will be on the honor system. Please pay at the door.There is NOT a fee for non-members for the Special Interest Groups, the Italian Seminar, and the Open Houses.

Finding Your Italian Ancestors Seminar and Workshlp

  • The Seminar is FREE for members and non-members but you must register. Click "Register Now!" button below.
  • When:  Saturday, October 12, 2013; 9:00 AM - 12 Noon and 1:00 - 4:00 PM
  • Seminar Location: LDS Church, Santa Barbara and Los Olivos (9:00 AM to 12 Noon)
  • Workshop Location: SBCGS Sahyun Library, 316 Castillo St. (1:00 - 4:00 PM)
  • Presenter: Paola Manfredi, accredited Italian genealogist

  • Saturday, October 19, 10 AM to 3 PM and Sunday, October 20, 10 AM to 1 PM
  • Tours of the Sahyun Library and free use of computers and subscription sites
  • Researchers on hand to help you discover your family
