2-Day Teledyne RDI Doppler Velocity Log (DVL) Training Course

Hosted in Houston, TX,  this course offers an in-depth overview of the principals and applications of Teledyne RDI’s DVL products as they apply to your underwater platform. 

Day 1 - Advanced Training 201: Integration - Tuesday, Oct. 21, 2014

Day 1 will focus on getting you from A-to-Z with the DVLs, i.e. from knowing what they are, what they measure, how they measure it, how to set them up, how to use the data and how they operate in different situations. Day 2 will focus on understanding what drives the performance of your DVL as well as help you understand how to optimize it.

The course will also focus on mechanical, acoustical and electrical considerations when integrating your DVL to your vehicle.  Crucial topics such as interference, EMI and of course what to do when Murphy’s law get the best of you, i.e. the art of troubleshooting, will be covered.

And we’ll finish-up with getting you confident with DVL/ADCP data analysis.

We will also investigate a few case studies to give you a global view of how these DVLs are being used in specific applications.
