Regulations:

TOURNAMENT DATES:
September 7 - 9, 2018

ENTRY DEADLINE:
September 4, 2018

REFUND POLICY
• Refund will not be issued once the draw has been made.
• All refunds will be processed 7 days after the tournament is over.


ENTRY AND ACCEPTANCE
• Entry fee must be paid online at time of registration.
   No late entry will be accepted.
• All entries are subject to approval of Tournament Committee.

DRAWS AND SCHEDULE
• Players are responsible for checking their own match time during the tournament.
• Draws will be made on-line early in the week before the tournament, and the day and time will be posted. 
• Matches will start at 5 pm on Friday and 8 am on Saturday and Sunday.

MATCH FORMAT:
• Doubles: Best of three tie-break sets with NO-ad scoring and a Match tie-break (10-point) will be played in lieu of a third set.
• Modified match format may be adopted in the event of inclement weather and unforeseeable circumstances

RULES OF PLAY
• All matches will be governed by Tennis Canada Rules of the Court. Players are expected to abide by the Code of Conduct as set out by Tennis Canada. However Tournament referee has the final decisions.
• Players are expected to be dressed and ready to play 15 minutes prior to their scheduled match time. Lateness penalties including default after 15 minutes, may be enforced.
• Players without acceptable attire will not be permitted to play. Non-marking shoes must be worn while on court.
• This is a weather dependable tournament. Match times may be postponed or delayed and matches may be played on different court surfaces, under lights, or at alternate sites, or events may be cancelled in the event of inclement weather

Code of Ethics for players, parents & coaches
• Players are expected to know and understand the Tennis Canada Rules of the Court and the Code of Conduct.
• Misconduct, whether on or off the court, will result in penalties against the player. Tennis BC has a no-tolerance policy towards abusive or inappropriate behavior.
• Tournament Committee may combine cancel or combine events if there are insufficient entries.
