The employment law team of Conway, Olejniczak & Jerry, S.C. is pleased to invite you to attend our 2019 Advanced HR Skills Workshop on Thursday, April 25, 2019.
By overwhelming popular demand, this year’s workshop will provide an in-depth analysis of state and federal Family and Medical Leave Act issues, including updates on state and federal court decisions, recent changes to state and federal regulations, and best practices for managing family, medical, and other leaves. The workshop will provide extensive sample forms, policies, checklists, training programs, and other tools to assist participants in updating their administrative processes.
Legal claims arising under state and federal FMLA laws and related leaves are among the highest risks to employers nationwide. The applicable rules are extremely complex, and properly administering the interrelated legal obligations of FMLA and other laws compounds the challenges for Human Resource professionals, managers, and business owners. The LCOJ employment team has developed a comprehensive program to address the key features of various medical and family leave laws and will provide real world advice on how to safely navigate these complicated rules. We will also, at no extra cost, be available during the lunch and break periods to discuss, confidentially, as time permits, any specific employment law issues you may be experiencing at your workplace.
Registration will commence at 8:00 a.m. at Rock Garden, 1951 Bond Street, Green Bay, Wisconsin. The workshop will start promptly at 8:30 a.m. and will conclude at 4:30 p.m., with a social hour in the adjoining bar in 1951 West to follow. Lunch will be provided to participants at no extra charge.
EARLY BIRD REGISTRATION - EXTENDED! - The Early Bird tuition for the workshop, through March 18, 2019, is $499, which covers the first attendee. Each additional attendee from the same company is $125. After March 18, the tuition increases to $599 for the first attendee. We anticipate that the workshop will qualify for eight SHRM and/or HRCI credits.
