Penguins in Peril: Session 1

• Grade Levels: 4th - 7th grade
• Cost: $165.60  (includes 5 classes + material fees + transaction fees)

The world penguin populations are facing dangers from climate change and loss of habitat. Students will learn about the 18 different species of penguins. They will research why many of these species have declining populations. After learning about the survival challenges, they will design a penguin house that can provide shelter as well as provide protection from warming climate. Students will work in groups of 3 to 4 as scientists and engineers.
