When we experience a problem, our tendency is to put a bandage on it. However, in doing so we are treating only the symptom. Our true aim is to treat the underlying reason for the problem by asking the right questions and using the right tools. By attending this workshop you will know how to systematically find the root cause of the problem, solve it, and prevent it from recurring. You will learn practical techniques you can apply immediately on the job. This will save time, and resources.

This interactive workshop will familiarize you with the structure for analyzing problems for root causes, by applying tested techniques and tools.

The workshop will demonstrate:

• The systematic Root Cause Analysis structure
• Tools and techniques such as, Ishikawa Diagram, 5 Whys, Pareto Analysis, Run Charts, Scatter Diagram, Force Field Analysis, Gantt Charts and much more

Upon completion of this workshop, when presented with a problem, the participant will know how to:

1. Precisely define the problem and recognize it as an opportunity for improvement
2. Choose the correct techniques and tools to determine the real causes of the problem
3. Structure a corrective action and a implementation plan
