24 Solar Terms: Related Chinese Food & Beverages (Thursday Oct 12, 2017)

Listed as UNESCO's Intangible Cultural Heritage, the 24 solar terms were created by farmers in ancient China to guide the farming activities. The terms reflect the changes in climate and other aspects of human life. This lecture will talk about typical Chinese food and beverages related to the terms and how they help to maintain health.
