Beyond Bricks Call for Entries

Awards will be announced to the 1^st, 2^nd and 3^rd place winners based on judging. There will be a People’s Choice winner at the Beyond Bricks event.

All entries must be received or postmarked by July 13, 2019.Completed entries must include the entry form, payment of entry fee, submitted electronic files and copy of the entrant’s resume.

FEE 

A non-refundable fee of $25 ($35 for non AIAEOK members) entitles the artist to submit two works to the competition. Additional works may be submitted for $10 per work ($15 for non AIAEOK members).  Each entrant will receive a complimentary ticket to the opening night party.  All payment must be made by submission deadline. 

REQUIREMENTS 

All submitted works must be original. All objects and installations must be designed to be exhibited on the walls, on the floor, on a stand, or on an easel. Works to be hung from walls must be constructed and wired on the back to accommodate installation using appropriate hooks, eyes and wires. Framing must be to professional standards. AIAEOK staff may make recommendations to expedite this require­ment. Wall-hung objects submitted for this exhibition must be no larger than 48" in any direction. Models must be structurally sound. Each entrant is encouraged to provide their own means of display and will need to coordinate with AIAEOK upon submission.

 

SUBMITTAL 

All works must be submitted electronically via email, through the FTP site, or by mailed flash drivethrough the ftp siste.  Once you register, you will receive information on how to upload your photos and completed registration form to the FTP site.

NOTIFICATION

Participants with selected works will be notified by email on July 12, 2019 and will receive details for delivery and presentation of work for the exhibition. Selected works must be delivered to the AIAEOK by September 10, 2019. Delivery and return of all works is the responsibility of the artist.
