Mary Hiland, Ph.D. works with nonprofit leaders to strengthen their boards as a powerful force for organizational and mission results. Mary's consulting practice focuses on unleashing the potential of nonprofit boards, building the board / executive partnership, and developing nonprofit leaders. Mary brings over 40 years of experience in the nonprofit sector. Her executive experience includes being CEO for one of the largest nonprofits in the Bay Area, in addition to understanding the board perspective having served over 16 years on several nonprofit boards.
