Vision Loss and the Arts  - Experiencing  art is a pleasure not limited to the sighted.  Those with vision loss can enjoy creating their own work and appreciating other's through tactile means.  This year VisionCorps celebrates Lancaster's vibrant artistic community with a display of tactile works commissioned for the agency's annual dinner. A portion of the proceeds benefit VisionCorps Foundation.  Lancaster artist Erica Milner, Mio Studio, will unveil her latest work, which was commissioned by VisionCorps.  It's design references blindness and incorporates tactile elements created from recycled product from the agency's industrial division, which were painted by employees and clients who are blind or vision impaired.  Other featured artists are Ken Reisig and Loryn Spangler Jones of Annex 24 Gallery, Annie Kerekgyarto of Sunshine Art & Design, George Mummert of Keystone Art & Culture and Jenny Germann of PA Guild of Craftsman.
