Introduction to Theraplay® and Group Theraplay®
Theraplay® was developed in the late 1960’s to meet the mental health needs of young children in the Head Start program in Chicago, where it is still a model. It is a short-term, therapist-guided dyadic psychotherapy that focuses on parent-child relationships. The Ecumenical Center is an APT Approved Provider 08-217.
