Give yourself the gift of writing time in the New Year!
Enrich your writing practice with a morning session of fiction techniques led by author/editor Alice Osborn, followed by three hours of uninterrupted time to work on your novel and short stories.
Fiction begins with the main character wanting something so badly it hurts. Your job as the writer is to make life very difficult for your main character so a fresh and inventive plot and story will emerge without cliché. We’ll discuss the craft of storytelling, along with point of view, setting, dialogue and pacing.
Alice will give prompts to strengthen and support your work. Alice is an experienced fiction book editor who has guided scores of novelists on the traditional and independent path to publication. Continuing and intermediate fiction writers are welcome.
