Description: Ready to conquer knitting in the round? In these two sessions, learn to make socks or fingerless mitts! Joining "in the round", gussets, fitting to gauge, the basics of construction, and the differences between DPNs, Magic Loop, and Two-at-a-Time Circs are among the topics to be covered as you knit your chosen accessory!
Materials: One of the following:
200 yards worsted-weight yarn and size 8 double-pointed needles OR
300 yards dk/sport-weight yarn and size 5 double-pointed needles OR
400 yards fingering-weight yarn and size 2 double-pointed needles.
(Please keep in mind that thicker yarn and bigger needles knit up faster!)
Please also bring a yarn needle, stitch marker, tape measure, and note-taking materials.
Homework: Before the first session, knit a 24 stitch by 20 row swatch in stockinette stitch using your chosen yarn and needles.
