Level: Advanced Beginner/Intermediate. Student must be able to knit, purl, read patterns and be familiar with working in the round.

Description: Learn the basics of mitten construction by making an adorable mini-mitten! If you choose, more advanced techniques (corrugated cast-on, corrugated rib, baby cables, duplicate stitch) will be taught as well.
Materials: Fingering-weight yarn (approximately 50 yds per mitten; multiple colors if desired), double-pointed needles (size 2.75mm/US size 2), stitch marker. Ribbon, beads (optional; bring a yarn needle (ribbon) or a beading hook (beads) if you' like to try either one.).
Note: The required pattern will be available from the teacher for $5 at the time of class. The teacher has graciously agreed to waive the pattern fee if you buy yarn for the class at Red Fox Yarns.
