In this Summer Classics workshop we will make a collection of the simplest of simple summer recipes, recipes so short, so intuitive, healthy and so delicious, that we might not even notice we are cooking.
In my world, 'summer classics' means recipes that fit into these categories:
Simply prepared
Ingredients easy to find in recipes easy to remember
Memorable to eat
Preparations that utilize the bounty of fresh summer vegetables and succulent summer fruits
Less time in the kitchen, easily made-ahead or made-in-minutes
Entertainment worthy dishes without too much fuss
Dishes in this class will include a variety of recipes including scallion pancakes, couscous salad, grilled seafood and a decedent summer dessert,
Please Note: Dishes are subject to change upon Chef’s choice. In other words if I see something that I know will be fantastic, it may pop up on the menu as an addition or in exchange of a recipe. Come hungry, with an open mind and be ready to Play with Your Food :>)
