2019 Funday – Canada… EH!
G’Day Hosers…er.. I mean Buckster’s:
It’s that time of year! As you’ve likely guessed by now, this year’s very special FUNDAY theme is: CANADA…Eh! Yup, It’s time to celebrate the fabric, culture and history of our great nation! We will also be celebrating the life of the incredible force behind the past 22 years of ACK, our very own Captain Canada, Bruce Charron!
Our party palace will resemble the landscape of the greatest country in the world. Come dressed as your favourite Canuck; Sir Johan A. (Mac Daddy) McDonald, Don (check out this collar) Cherry, Bob and Doug (I’ll have another) McKenzie, or your friendly neighbourhood Lumberjack! Wear something typically Canadian; Anything plaid (Bonus: This will also be a nice tribute to Bruce!), a Hockey Sweater, or Long Johns and a bon tuque! As Captain Canada would say… “By now, you know the drill”.
It’s the once a year party that we all look so forward to, and it’s happening at Manoir des Sables, Magog July 6th, 2019. Save the date and as our Buckster Ambassadors, please spread the word.
Quick recap on where have progressed to over the last 22 years. Last year’s $405,000 took our total to just over $4,000,000!! This keeps us firmly entrenched as the largest community based fundraiser at the Montreal Children’s Hospital. We continue to support those needy initiatives so close to all our hearts.
