We are excited to announce our first LIVE event in 18 months: The Top 100 Party is BACK!

Each year, Capitol Weekly’s Top 100 names the most powerful movers and shakers in California politics. We don’t include elected officials. Instead, we look at those who devote their professional lives to fighting for – or against – issues of state politics and policy, including lobbyists, bureaucrats, activists, trade group leaders, Capitol staffers and even journalists.

The latest edition of the Top 100 List will be released at a lively end-of-session reception on Wednesday, August 25. You’re invited to celebrate with us at this very special mixer.  Enjoy a hosted bar, delicious snacks and entertainment in one of the most beautiful historic settings in the city. You’ll have fun! You’ll be the first to receive a copy of Capitol Weekly’s 2021 Top 100 Book!  

And you’ll be supporting a good cause: All proceeds from The Top 100 Party benefit Open California, the 501(c)(3) nonprofit publisher of Capitol Weekly.
