Southern University at New Orleans - ACT Compass Prep Camp 

This camp prepares prospective college freshmen to take the ACT Compass, which is used for admission and enrollment to the University. Students will receive tutoring in reading, writing and mathematics. Students who successfully complete the camp and receive qualifying scores will be admitted to SUNO for the fall 2015 semester, and will attend the New Student Orientation session which will close out the camp!

To qualify for the camp, students must have:

  • Graduated from high school
  • Completed the Louisiana Core 4 curriculum
  • Have an overall and core GPA of 2.0 or higher
  • Have at least a 15 on the English and Math sections of the ACT.

The camp is free for new prospective freshmen who use the camp to gain admission and enrollment to SUNO for the fall 2015 semester.

Housing and meals are available for students who live outside of the Greater New Orleans area, for an additional cost. Please contact us for details if you need to stay with us on campus to participate.
