Frequently Asked Questions:                                 PPE:                                                                        While on the training ground all participants must bring and wear full PPE. Full PPE is a helmet, eye protection, long sleeves, gloves, pants and boots. Full bunker gear is not mandatory.

Training:
Paratech provides equipment, instructors and materials.

What are the hours of Paratech University?
Start time is 8am. End time is 4pm.

Instructor:
SPEC Rescue International conducts Paratech Universities.

Will I receive continuing education credits?
Attendees who complete the Paratech University course will receive a Certificate of Participation from SPEC Rescue International that contains CEU’s.

Attendees Responsibilities:
Each participant will be responsible for their hotel accommodations, transportation to and from the event, dinner costs and an attendance fee of $50 per person.

Registration Allotment:
Maximum 4 attendees per company.

Payment: 
Payment can be made by Credit card, Debit Card or with your PayPal account for your 50.00 attendance fee. At the end of the registration, you will be directed to a PayPal website. You will be giving two options to pay. The options are paying with your PayPal account or Debit/Credit Card. If you want to pay with your PayPal account, enter your email address, password and click Log In. Food:
Donuts, Coffee, Water and Lunch are provided on both days of Paratech University. Note that dinner costs are not included in the attendance fee. 

Terms & Conditions:                                               Severe weather or other major events may impact our operations. Depending on the severity of the event, we may allow you to change to another Paratech University. Unfortunately, we will not be able to refund your fee in the event of severe weather or other major events that my impact our operations.

We are pleased to invite you to attend PARATECH UNIVERSITY for a two day hands on event containing the most current heavy lifting, shifting, stabilizing and building shoring techniques.

This Paratech University consists of two - eight hour days which will include: classroom, tool labs and hands on training. 

Day one will include registration and introductions followed by a brief MS PowerPoint presentation. The participants will then be placed into four squads. Beginning Day One and continuing through Day Two each squad will rotate through four Learning Stations. Paratech University will end with all four stations integrated into an ultimate technical rescue challenge final exam. In this final exercise you will move a heavy object around an obstacle course incorporating disciplines you just learned.
