Concealed Carry PAT
Concealed Carry Procedures, Attitude, and Training (PAT) is the first part of a two part curriculum designed to education those interested in obtaining their CCW permit in the state of California. Concealed Carry PAT covers the procedures, attitude, legal issues, and judgement training that every CCW holder should follow in order to be a safe and responsible CCW holder. This class is intended for those who already own a pistol and are interested in pursuing their concealed carry firearms permit. You must have taken the Basic Pistol class within the previous 2 years or provide proof of attending a basic pistol class. This class focuses on procedures, judgement, and knowledge.

- Introduction to Concealed Carry Safety and the Defensive Mindset
- Introduction to Self-Defense and Concealed Carry
- Legal Aspects of Concealed Carry and Self-Defense
- Carry Modes and Concealment Methods
- Presenting the Pistol from Concealment
- Presentation, Position, and Movement
- Judgement Training (simulator)
- Class material review and exam
You will need a pistol, a holster, and two magazines. NO AMMUNITION is REQUIRED for this class. Live fire activities are covered in the Concealed Carry LFR (Live Fire Range) class. Students passing Concealed Carry PAT exam may advance to Concealed Carry LFR.The Concealed Carry LFR takes your CCW training to the next level and prepares you for your range qualification with your CCW issuing authority.
