Chainsaw Safety with Mark Reiland 

Chainsaws are an effective and timesaving tool for arborists, foresters, and other professionals who provide outdoor services. Although the overall design of chainsaws has not changed much over the past few decades, manufacturers are constantly innovating to produce lighter, more powerful chainsaws for working professionals.

Despite the simple design and cutting efficiency of modern chainsaws, it is imperative that saw operators follow safe work practices and understand the dynamics and forces involved when cutting in different situations and environmental conditions.   Register early - this class always fills quickly.  ISA and MCA credits have been requested.
