Come enjoy the usual good diner food, kick back with colleagues, and participate in a seasonal reminder of sound planting practices. Rick Harper of UMass will present Planting to Promote Tree Health and Prevent Pests and follow it after dinner with an outdoor, hands-on demonstration. Rick will discuss the latest Best Management Practices, address challenges, answer your questions, and demonstrate sound planting practices for successful tree establishment. ISA and MCA-MCLP credits have been requested.
This will be the fourth dinner meeting of this developing sub-group of MTWFA.
Previous gatherings have included a great mix of tree wardens, commercial and utility arborists, and DCR and UMass professionals. These educational and fun evenings will continue on a quarterly schedule for 2016.
Last day to register is June 3rd
