Electrical Hazard Awareness Program (EHAP)

Trees and nearby electrical infrastructure can be a dangerous combination. Tree workers need to be aware of the hazards and how to work safely around them. Instructor David Hawkins, CTSP will lead this two-day program from Tree Care Industry Association (TCIA). The training includes both parts of the EHAP program, the classroom portion and the aerial rescue portion (bucket truck or tree climbing).

REQUIREMENT: CPR/First Aid

In order to receive the TCIA certificate of completion, each attendee must present valid  CPR and First Aid cards. Workshop attendees should bring copies of both cards, showing the dates and signatures (copy both sides of the cards if the signature is on the back). If attendees are unable to present valid cards, they must obtain and present proof of current CPR and First Aid certifications within one month of the EHAP training in order to receive the TCIA certificate.
