"Making Sense of Factors: A Practitioner's View"

Bill is a Partner, President, and Chief Executive Officer. He guides the firm's strategic direction, oversees its operations and is a member of the investment team. Prior to founding the firm and serving as its Chief Investment Officer for more than 25 years, Bill was a Trustee and Vice President of Batterymarch Financial Management from 1984 to 1987, where he was involved in quantitative research and portfolio management as an investment strategist. Before joining Batterymarch, he was a Vice President of JP Morgan Investment Management where he began his career as a research analyst.

Bill graduated from Lafayette College with a B.A. in both mathematics and economics. He earned his M.B.A. in finance at the Wharton School. He is a CFA charterholder and a member of the CFA Society of New York.
