"2019 Outlook - The End of Easy"

H. Cameron Hinds is the regional chief investment officer for the Great Lakes region of Wells Fargo Private Bank. He leads a team of investment professionals who deliver comprehensive, custom and diversified portfolio management for clients of The Private Bank. In his role, Mr. Hinds serves as the investment thought leader in the region by providing insight and interpretation of the economy and financial markers at client events and through written commentary. In addition to serving as regional chief investment officer, Mr. Hinds serves on the Wealth Management Investment Policy Committee that oversees the investment function for Investment and Fiduciary Services.

Prior to his current role, Mr. Hinds served as the regional investment manager for Nebraska, South Dakota, and North Dakota. For a five-year period, he was a team leader for the national equity research process. For a three-year period, Mr. Hinds was the team leader for the Wells Fargo Mid Cap Style Strategy where he was responsible for managing one internal stock fund, as well as the strategy for all mid-cap equity assets in Wells Fargo Private Bank. In December of 2017, Mr. Hinds completed a 12 year period as the founder and Co-Manager of the Large Cap Fundamental Equity Strategy - the primary large cap core/value equity strategy for wealth management clients with in excess of $10 Billion in assets.

Mr. Hinds has more than 35 years of investment management experience. Prior to the merger of Wells Fargo and First Commerce Bancshares (FCB), Mr. Hinds was the president and chief investment officer for First Commerce Investors, the investment management subsidiary of FCB. In that capacity, he was the portfolio manager for the three Great Plains Funds stock portfolios.

Mr. Hinds is widely quoted in regional and national media outlets, including the Wall Street Journal, Washington Post, Bloomberg, Barron's and CNBC.com.

He earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and a Master in Finance from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Mr. Hinds is a CFA charterholder and past president and director of the CFA Society Nebraska. He maintains an office in Minneapolis, Minnesota and is based in Lincoln, Nebraska.
