5th Annual Cradle of Hope Awards Luncheon & Silent Auction 

 Please join us for the 5th Annual Cradle of Hope Awards Luncheon, on Friday, March 16th from 11:30 to 2:00 p.m.  Hear from keynote speaker, Dr. Adewale Troutman, bid on the silent auction and witness the presentation of awards to  Dr. Michelle Gourdine, Delegate Shirley Nathan-Pulliam and the Office of Minority Health. WJZ/TV  News Anchor, Denise Koch will serve as Mistress of Ceremony. There will also be an Apple  iPad2, 32GB Raffle at $10.00 per chance.   The price of the luncheon is $40.00  - please respond by March 10, 2012.  Looking forward to seeing you there!

About the Speaker   

 Dr. Adewale Troutman identifies himself through his commitment to social justice, human rights, community activism, health equity and national and global health.  He has a MD from New Jersey Medical School, a Masters in public health from Columbia University, a Masters in Black Studies from the State University of New York in Albany, and board certification from the National Board of Public Health Examiners.  His experience also includes special consultancies in Thailand, Japan, Angola, Jamaica, Zaire, India and Austria.  Dr. Troutman has had multiple publications and received numerous awards including the Ottenheimer Award for Social Justice.  He is featured in the nationally televised PBS series, "Unnatural Causes:  Is Inequality Making Us Sick?"  Dr. Troutman is a member of the Health and Human Services Secretary's Advisory Committee on Infant Mortality, and he will become President of the American Public Health Association (APHA) in 2014.
