Donovan's Shady Harbor Marina Hosting 2nd Annual Caribbean Jerk Off BBQ Competition 

We are looking for as many Mohawk-Hudson boat clubs as possible to come to Shady Harbor Marina to root on their teams with the best rendition of Caribbean Jerk cuisine.  

Come watch your team create their unique delicacies, and sample some delicious jerk cuisine. There will be 3 highly qualified judges to award the 2012 “Cup” which will be displayed in the winning teams’ clubhouse for the year.

All Attendees who are cheering and not competing will get 50% off on transient dockage (plus utilities) to come root their teams, based on availability (sorry no reciprocal dockage available for this weekend). Competing team members receive free dockage Friday and Saturday.

As the host of this event, Shady Harbor will provide an excellent facility, and hamburgers and hotdogs for the non-believers. Enjoy music throughout the day and well into the evening including:

12:00-1:00 - Molly Durnin
1:00-4:00 - Tropical Beat Steel Band
4:00-5:00 - Molly Durnin
5:00-8:30 - Captain Squeeze and the Zydeco Moshers
8:30-12:00 midnight - Playin' with Fire (at Yanni's Cucina)

The restaurant bar will be open for your enjoyment. Judging will take place from 4-5 P.M. The 50/50 will be drawn just prior to the awarding of the cup.  

We are politely asking for donations to support the Northeastern NY Alzheimer's Association and we will also have a 50/50 raffle with 50% going to the Alzheimer's Association and 50% going to the winner. We will also be raffling off prizes throughout the event.
