Anxiety Disorders Workshop

This workshop is free and open to everyone but registration is limited

Participants will learn about generalized anxiety disorder, specific phobias, panic disorder, agoraphobia, social anxiety disorder, post-traumatic stress disorder and obsessive–compulsive disorder. Review of causes, course, prognosis, symptoms, treatments and recovery philosophy.

Someone from CHANNAL will share their struggles with this illness as a lived experience. We will highlight CHANNAL as a premiere agency built and maintained by consumers of mental health services. We will share information about CHANNAL’s services such as peer support and telephone warm line.

NOTE:

All particpants must keep any personal information shared in the workshop as personal and confidential in keeping with federal and provincial privacy laws and the confidentiality policies at Eastern Health and the NLHHN.
