SPOTLIGHT is a FREE event to CELEBRATE the children in our state. This event is open to ALL CHILDREN and FAMILIES in Illinois. This afternoon of celebration, held on Millikin University's Campus in Decatur, Illinois, will open up the ARTS to children of all ages through the various Workshops available for them to participate in. Adults and children alike will be inspired by the gallery displays of pieces created by Pre-K students through High School Seniors. SPOTLIGHT has something for everyone. Bring the whole family and help us celebrate our children and their contributions to the Arts and Community.
The afternoon will include:
The culmination of the afternoon will be a ceremony recognizing:
Congratulation to all our students with Reflections pieces that advanced to State. These students submissions will be available for viewing during our SPOTLIGHT Event and students attending will be recognized on stage. Click here for full list of students.
We recommend that all guests pre-register for this event and to ensure availability of workshops for all children. Many workshops offered have limited capacity and will not available for registration once maximum capacity is reached. We encourage you to review the workshops offered prior to registering.

SPOTLIGHT is made possible by our sponsors and support from individuals interested in encouraging children to achieve their dreams and preserving the Arts in Education.
