Neighborhood Leadership Institute kicked off its Community Book Club last month. Due to increasing demand, we are adding a second group! We invite members of the community to join Group 2 as we discuss books addressing important issues in today’s society.  Our first book is The New Jim Crow: Incarceration in the Age of Colorblindness.  This book will be discussed at weekly online sessions hosted by NLI facilitator GiGi Elder. We anticipate these discussions will run from July 29th to September 2nd. 

Information on Book #2 will be released soon. A new registration opportunity will be offered for the second installment of NLI's Community Book Club.
