ACT Academy 2016
This summer, spend five days at the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville. We'll help you tackle the ACT and answer your questions about college admissions, academics, and campus life. You'll get to work on test-taking skills, learn about the many exciting opportunities the U of A offers; stay in a residence hall and experience campus life.
We are excited to offer two sessions of the ACT Academy this year. This application is for general admission. Students that are accepted will be assigned to a session.
- Session 1: June 19-24, 2016
- Session II: July 10-15, 2016
The standard program fee is $75. All meals, housing, activities and supplies will be provided. Payment will be due after notification of acceptance and is required to reserve your place in the program. Space is limited.
The discounted program fee is $45 for high school students who are eligible for free/reduced lunch. Please submit documentation from your school confirming that you qualify for free/reduced lunch. Please do NOT submit an original ACT fee waiver.
*** Please DO NOT submit payment until after notification of acceptance. There will be NO refunds granted once payment is received. ***
Applications are due April 1st. Current high school sophomores and juniors are encouraged to apply. Students will be notified of their application status by May 3rd.
If you need special consideration for a specific session, please include your request with explanation, but note that among students accepted we cannot guarantee placement in the requested session. Additional information and forms will be required of all students accepted for attendance.
