A conversation with Janice Munemitsuand Judge Joanne Motoike: Orange County United Way is proud to partner with UCI School of Law to host an informative session highlighting the landmark case Mendez v. Westminster and how the ruling ended segregation in California in 1947. It also laid the groundwork for Brown v. Board of Education in 1954.
