Volunteer Signup - 2020 Texas Tree Climbing Championship 

Note: Due to the current COVID-19 pandemic, the May 15-16, Texas Tree Climbing Championship has been postponed. The new date to be announced. 

The time is once again upon us to volunteer our time, energy and especially your expertise to put on the Texas Tree Climbing Championship.  For many years, you all have been the heart of the championship and we need your help again!

The championship will be held this year at Brackenridge Park in San Antonio. As usual, we will have a service/pruning day in mid-April, with the championship to follow on May 15-16.

Like last year, we are making our process for volunteering so it is easier to keep track of who is volunteering and to make next year call for volunteers simpler. Please register as a volunteer as soon as possible so we can identify the resources we will need (hotels, food etc..) ahead of time.  While the volunteer site will remain open, I am asking for you all to register by April 1st.

When you signup, you will be able to identify your past experience, share preferences as well as dates you will be available.  Likewise, you will be able to fill out your release forms ahead of time.

Markus and I truly appreciate all you have given over the years but it is the cadre of climbers who come from all over the state and the country to compete that benefit the most from our efforts.  We all know how powerful the championship is for the guys and gals in the field and it would not be possible without all of you!
